Mackinnon and Saunders

So my jewellery has been suffering lately but for good reasons! I am working for puppet/model makers Mackinnon and Saunders where we are working on a live puppet action childrens comedy show for CBBC. I am learning so much and have progressed so far in the past three months, I have been inspired for my own work and the ideas are bubbling to the surface. I am very eager to get back in my studio and start a new project watch this space.

Meanwhile the beautiful gallery Brass Monkeys near Brighton are stocking my work which seems to be going down very well.

Long time no blog

The Royal Exchange and more

Here is a taster of some of my new work, I have been working on getting together a new range for a while now and have only just succeeded. The push to finish came in the form an invite to display in the summer exhibition at the Royal Exchange Theatre. 'Bring Me Sunshine' starts this week and will run until the end of August.

Lancashire Arts and Craft Initiative

A traveling exhibition by LACI are showing my work in various galleries around Lancashire from now until the new year, the first gallery (display above) is in Blackpool's Grundy Gallery. This exhibition closes on 13th November so get there quick! The next port of call for the work will be Rosendale museum and Art Gallery 15th January- 20th February 2011. then Ormskirk's Chapel Gallery 5th March- 30th April 2011. The variety of work on display is vast and extremely impressive, not just because most of the exhibitors are friends of mine!

I am working on new pieces for Flock, an exhibition at the RBSA gallery early in the new year.
